In Fiji, SORMAS was implemented by the Ministry of Health & Medical Services during the COVID-19 pandemic to support case-based surveillance, contact tracing, and outbreak management. The system contributed to strengthening digital public health workflows, improving data timeliness, and supporting coordinated response activities across levels of the health system. SORMAS supported public health authorities in managing COVID-19 cases and contacts and in enhancing preparedness for future outbreaks.
