Pilar Hernández

Dr Pilar Hernández has over 15 years’ experience working on programmes for the control of infectious diseases, with special focus in Pandemic Prevention and Response, Digital Health, and Neglected Tropical Diseases.
She has provided technical assistance to ministries of health and regional institutions across several countries in Africa and Latin America and led international teams for effective implementation.
She holds an MSc in Control of Infectious Diseases and a PhD in molecular diagnostic methods for infectious diseases. She is currently responsible for the project’s portfolio and business development at the SORMAS Foundation.
Jan Böhme

Jan Böhme has over 20 years of experience working in the IT-space.
Ranging from software development, system design, game development to leadership of developer teams.
He was involved in the implementation of SORMAS in multiple European countries and is now leading the technical development of the SORMAS project as well as handling the SORMAS Foundation’s internal operations.
