New SORMAS Academy Course: SORMAS Server Installation, Upgrade & Administration

‍A new course is now available on the SORMAS Academy, providing practical guidance on installing, upgrading, and administering a SORMAS server in a production environment.

Running a SORMAS server requires more than simply installing the application. The course covers the essential components of a production setup, including the application server, database, reverse proxy, and firewall configuration.

By completing the course, participants will be able to:

  • Install a new SORMAS server from scratch

  • Safely upgrade an existing SORMAS server

  • Configure Linux, Java, and PostgreSQL

  • Set up an Apache reverse proxy and firewall
